Thankful Thursday~My husband!

 I am sooo thankful for my husband.  Not only is he gorgeous but he is also smart, loving, kind, and my absolute perfect match.  Andy and I met 8 years ago in San Diego.  We were both invited by friends to go to a restaurant called Rockin Baja Lobster in Old Town San Diego.  There were about 20 people there but I noticed him immediately.  After talking we found out that we both attended the same church and had for years (it was a huge church).  We are so different but so alike also.  When it comes to our personalites we couldn't be more different.  Andy is very very outgoing.  He loves people, loves talking, and has never met a stranger.  I, on the other hand, am more on the introvertive side.  I love people too but am not as confident as he is.  He brings me out of my shell and for that I have always been thankful.  Soon after we met we started dating and were married 13 months later.  It was a whirlwind romance!

Andy has been an awesome husband.  We have our tough days like everyone does but we both always come around to finding a mutual place of respect.  One of my favorite things about Andy is his faith in God.  He truly loves God so much and I love how he desires to serve Him with his life and choices.  I am so thankful today and every day that God blessed me with such an awesome husband.

Thankful Thursday~ Mom!

Today is Thankful Thursday, the day of the week that we can all stop for a second and think about everything that we have to be thanful for!  There are so many things to be thankful for but today I am feeling very thankful for one person in particular.  My MOM!

My Mom is my best friend.  She always has been and always will be.  She is the only person in my life who I can talk to every single day and I still can't wait to talk to her again.  She is beyond kind.  Everyone who meets her loves her because she is so warm and loving.  She is truly interested in everyone she meets.  She is also incredibly generous.  She has given me and my family more than we deserve and is always coming up with new ways she can bless us.  I hope and pray that I will have as strong of a bond with my own daughter as she gets older as my Mom and I have had.  I am SOOO thankful for her today and everyday.  Every daughter should be so blessed as to have a mom like I have. 

1 Thessalonians 5:18 "Be thankful in ALL circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Jesus Christ."
